In 2020, we have already participated in the refurbishment of this base load power station in Nord Rhine-Westphalia: the first contract entailed supplying/replacing 21 flue gas cooler modules in optimized design, as well as refurbishment of 7 such modules for the 1st and 2nd stages of the plant’s heat displacement system.
We are very pleased to have been awarded a follow-up order for construction, manufacturing and supplying of 7 additional flue gas cooler modules.
The new modules are fully corrosion-resistant and equipped with pressure pipes made of fluoroplastic. This will contribute significantly to the improvement of operational safety, as well as considerably increase the life expectancy through optimized layout and choice of materials.
The delivery of the new modules is planned for June 2024.
