Sustainable Energy from Bamberg

The Zweckverband Müllheizkraftwerk Bamberg, operating a waste incineration plant with three lines for waste treatment in Bamberg, is making a statement for sustainable energy and environmental protection.

Continuously seeking environmentally friendly solutions to substitute primary fuels with renewable energies, the Bamberg Waste Incineration Plant will receive an upgrade in the coming months: a high-pressure steam gas preheater!

The high-pressure steam gas preheater will replace the natural gas–fired furnace burner, leading to a significant reduction in climate-relevant emissions. This marks a significant step towards sustainable energy!

We are excited to be involved in this exciting project and actively contribute to the transformation. The Zweckverband Müllheizkraftwerk Bamberg has entrusted us with project management and implementation for the high-pressure steam gas preheater components, return gas channels including the compact reactor, pipelines including fittings, and condensate cooler, as well as the district heating and municipal water branch for all three lines. This encompasses the entire engineering, manufacturing, and assembly process. Finally, the commissioning will be carried out by us. The delivery date for this comprehensive project is scheduled between April and July 2024.

We can't wait to witness this green transformation firsthand and collaboratively shape the future of sustainable energy technology!
