A quarter of a century filled with ingenuity, entrepreneurial courage, and tireless passion for innovation! On November 22, 2023, the 25th German Future Prize was awarded, a prize for technology and innovation established by the Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
A total of 20 prestigious institutions had the privilege to submit proposals, and the most outstanding innovations were identified by an independent jury of 10 members representing both science and industry. An impressive prize of €250,000 was awarded to the laureates. Major companies supported this initiative as sponsors, and their commitment significantly contributed to strengthening the innovation landscape and enhancing Germany's global positioning.
Three fascinating teams were nominated for their pioneering projects:
Team 1
Open to all – A new MRT for the world. Medical progress without limit!
Team 2
Counteract climate change – Removing CO2 from the atmosphere and making it useful. A contribution to saving our planet!
Team 3
Resilience for the gas supply – 3D Recu burner lowers natural gas consumption and opens up a future for hydrogen in industry.
