On February 29th and March 1st, 2024, over 150 industry experts from the thermal waste and residue treatment sector discussed profitable solutions in times of high gas prices. One of the main topics of the event was the profitability of catalysts.
Our Sales Director, Andreas Deese, presented an exciting project: From March to July 2024, we are replacing natural gas–fired burners with state-of-the-art HP steam-gas preheaters at the Bamberg Waste-to-Energy Plant. This is a project planned for a total of 13 months which will save 700,000 m³ of natural gas annually, reduce the CO2 footprint by 1,400 tons, and achieve ROI (Return of Investment) in just 6 years!
