Gas-gas heaters

Our corrosion-resistant gas-gas heaters have been setting standards in corrosion protection and performance for decades. They are used for recuperative waste heat recovery downstream of industrial combustion processes and enable the direct, leak-free transfer of heat between two gas flows - even under extremely corrosive conditions. With over 100 references worldwide, our systems cover gas volume flows from approx. 5,000 to over 2,000,000 Nm³/h.

Our gas-gas heaters are widely used, particularly in flue gas cleaning systems with wet scrubbers or SCR catalytic converters, as well as in power plants (coal, oil, biomass), thermal waste treatment plants (waste, sewage sludge, substitute fuel) and other industrial combustion plants. They lower energy costs, reduce pollutant emissions and enable compliance with stricter legal requirements.

Our gas-gas heaters use the residual heat from flue and process gases in the low-temperature range and ensure reliable, long-lasting operation - even with highly corrosive harmful gas components such as HF, HCl or SOx. They are optionally equipped with a highly effective online scrubbing device, which ensures low-maintenance and trouble-free operation.

The heat exchangers consist of straight tube bundles whose tubes are made of high-quality materials such as fluoroplastics (e.g. PTFE, PFA), nickel-based alloys, glass or stainless steel. All components in contact with the gas are lined with permanently corrosion-resistant materials to ensure a long service life even under the most demanding conditions.

We develop and produce our gas-gas heaters in-house and adapt the material concept individually to the specific requirements of our customers. Our design impresses with minimal pressure losses, low tendency to deposit and maximum efficiency. Turnkey solutions including installation and commissioning round off our range of services.
