A waste gas utilisation plant in Switzerland is being expanded with a new line.
Within the frame of this expansion, we have received an order from the main contractor, Intherma Industrielle Feuerungsanlagen GmbH, for the construction, manufacture, assembly and commissioning of a cross counterflow gas/gas heat exchanger including a cleaning device. The project in question involves a construction of a new line equipped with a compact, fully corrosion-resistant gas/gas heat exchanger equipped with fluoropolymer tubes.
The purpose of the gas/gas heat exchanger is to cool the crude gas before it enters the flue gas scrubber, and use the recuperated heat for heating the clean gas after it exits the scrubber. This process significantly improves the efficiency of the plant, saves primary energy and ensures a reduction in CO2 emission.
The job will be completed after delivery of the equipment in May 2023.
