Sales meetings in the time of Corona


We always thought that sales were about being in close contact with the customer, standing right in front of him and developing solutions together. But ever since the emergence of the Coronavirus, we have been forced to avoid this close contact, which means sales were not an easy task this year.

 

Here within the Wallstein Group, we have nevertheless held an internal sales meeting, bringing together all the sales reps from seven regions – together but at a very unusual distance. The new rules such as keeping the minimum distance during meetings or wearing a mask when leaving one’s workplace have already become a new normal for us.


„For us, sales representatives who enjoy spending a lot of time with other people, it felt weird to be together with the colleagues we know well and appreciate so much and at the same time, keep the distance,” said Ioannis Samaras, Sales Manager at Wallstein Electrical and Maintenance Technology.


We were able to discuss the current issues, hold debates, and define our further approach to sales for the next months as well as for the coming year 2021 in a targeted way.

 

In spite of the Coronavirus, we are looking positively to the future!
