Especially during the Christmas season, the Wallstein Group supports some organizations with donations. Last year, the management of the Wallstein Group made a donation to the German branch of the African Amini Alama association. The association supports many projects in the fields of medicine, education and social affairs in low-affluent areas in Africa. In May 2010, for example, the association opened a health center in Momella, Tanzania, to treat the Maasai and Meru in the surrounding area, a catchment area for over 8,000 people. So far, over 20,000 patients receive comprehensive medical care in the center each year.
