With the establishment of Wallstein Thermal Equipment (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. (WTE) in 2013, another foundation stone was laid for the Wallstein Group's China business. The 3,000-square-meter manufacturing facility with is located in the Tianjin region and is about 90 km south-east of Beijing...
...At WTE there are three product areas: manufacturing of sterilisation tunnels for Bosch Packaging, heat exchanger assembly, and the extrusion of plastic pipes. While the manufacturing for Bosch Packaging has been running since 2013, the extrusion line for plastic pipes has only just been installed. After installation of the extrusion plant, the successful commissioning has now also been completed and the first metres of the AlWaFlon® plastic pipes have been produced. In parallel, the first heat exchanger modules for the first power plant project are now being prepared.
With the production facilities and the engineering office in Beijing - Wallstein Thermal Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (WTT) - we are very well positioned for the Chinese market and ready for the construction of the two product areas "industrial heat recovery" as well as the "production of sterilization tunnel" for Bosch Packaging. Due to the good order situation, a second extrusion line is already underway, which will then go into operation in the summer of 2014.
