...Provided spare parts were expertly exchanged, installed and subjected to functional testing. Missing spare parts were able to be sourced and supplied in the short time available. The recommissioning deadlines at the end of maintenance were easily met.
A further example of the rapid and skilful execution of repairs is the upgrade of the heat exchanger in the flue gas cleaning system at MEWA Textil Service AG in Bottrop. During shutdown at the weekend, defective tube sheets were separated out and newly constructed cube sheets were adjusted, welded in place and fitted with pipes and seals. Thanks to short communication paths and detailed pre-planning, the plant could be started up again on late Sunday evening, so that the restart of production on Monday morning was never in danger.
