Jannik Unterste-Wilms and Elias Langenkamp started their apprenticeship as construction mechanics at the Wallstein Group’s Wallstein Apparate- und Anlagenbau GmbH back in August 2020, and they have been able to gain numerous insights into the profession. Two of their educational modules take place at an external training workshop at our partner company, SLV Gelsenkirchen, where both apprentices are able to gain additional knowledge and abilities.
Unfortunately, we had to postpone the first assignment multiple times due to COVID. In May, the training workshop was finally open again, and both Jannik and Elias were able to start with this part of their education there.
The apprenticeship is conducted with financial support from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia as well as the European Social Fund.
We wish both young men good luck and hope they enjoy their time with us.
