We are pleased to have won a new contract for our Energy and Environmental Technology business, which entails retrofitting essential flue gas treatment elements in a dry-cleaning plant in the Vienna region.
The contract includes supply, assembly, and commissioning of a glass pipe heat exchanger with air inlet and outlet hoods and flue gas channels, as well as retrofitting of the I&C and switchboard equipment.
The glass pipe heat exchanger is an advancement of the conventional, known for many years model with side wall heating, and represents cutting edge technology. It is a single-stage heat exchanger, with crude gas flowing through vertical glass pipes and being indirectly cooled by clean gas circulating in cross-flow around the pipes.
The work was completed during a plant stoppage in October 2021 that will be kept as short as possible.
